Une grande fête de l'aéromodélisme

Cette année encore, l'Albatros Club de Gerpinnes nous réserve un spectacle grandiose. Si vous y venez le week-end du 22 & 23 mai 2004 vous y verrez le plus gros avion rc du monde, un B29 de 9m et plus de 200 kg (B29 Super Forteresse), de la voltige, des vols de patrouilles avec des avions anciens et récents, ainsi que des jets à réaction munis de véritables turbo-réacteurs que vous verrez évoluer dans le sifflement et l’odeur caractéristique du kérosène. Vous aurez également l’occasion d’admirer les démonstrations de voltige du plus jeune pilote du club, Axel Libert, 12 ans. Celui-ci participe au championnat de Belgique de voltige dans la catégorie « Grands Modèles » avec deux avions dont les cylindrées sont de 160 cc, l’envergure de 3 mètres et le poids de 17 kilos.
Des exposants et commerçants seront également sur place avec les dernières nouveautés.
Au programme donc: des modèles exceptionnels , une majorité de très grands modèles, une participation unique en son genre, un spectacle de qualité !Voyez les photos de l'édition 2003
Buvettes et restauration sur place tout le W-E.
Le samedi 22 toute la journée: démonstrations libres non-stop.
Le dimanche 23: début du show à 11 heures, fin des démonstrations vers 18 heures par un spectacle pyrotechnique (attaque de l’aérodrome).

Suite a la demande de beaucoup de modéliste, le show sera ouvert en plus des modèles cat 2 et 3 aux modèles de catégorie 1, ils devront néanmoins avoir une envergure supérieures a 1.90 mètres et êtres du type maquette ou semi-maquette, ceci répondra nous l'espérons aux voeux des pilotes qui en ont fait la demande.
Pour les inscriptions il suffit de téléchargé celles-ci sur le site Albatros,www.albatros-club.be et de les rentrer au plus tard pour le 15 mai, programme de vol et intendance oblige.
